Arr thanks BFF. Can I have some french fries as well to dip in the ice cream? And please don't sing along to unchained melody, you'll ruin my favourite part.

Hello Everyone....Been busy on my end. I have come to TRF but feel more like its a hit and run, I read the posts, comment a simple comment then out again. Been busy here with the new project at work that Im doing, babysitting my niece and nephew, catching up with friends I haven't seen but chat with often, and trying to keep my sanity with this weather. We're due for more snow tonight and great that I have to work day shift tomorrow & Sunday. :-( Spring is officially here and mother nature is still trying to trick us.

Went to Tommy Hilfiger yesterday and bought the kids a bunch of clothes for Easter. Ya I know...whats wrong with a Kinder Egg. LOL My sister in law mentioned last week the kids needed new clothes and so Im just helping out. :-)

Happy Birthday Bas! :-)

Lisa, glad you are feeling better. I finally had another round of antibiotics and thankfully I am pneumonia free.

Wes...dating sucks. Thats it in a nutshell. The right one isn't going to ring your doorbell and say "here I am". I have kissed a few frogs lately and NONE of them turned into a prince. LOL Get out and circulate. ;-) Its tiring to be honest. And when it gets too tiring, take a break. :-) I find going on dinner dates more exhausting than going for coffee/tea or a drink. I avoid them. Just more time consuming and if you have little to say, can be excruciating & awkward. Just a thought. ;-)

Dawna...so happy to hear the renos are winding down. What a feeling that must be. :-)

Carl..nice you got to get away from the big city and enjoy the country. Perhaps your friends will have a summer weekend getaway.. :-) Bring the marshmallows and long sticks. LOL Oh, and bug spray. ;-)

Greg, Nikki & Leo..hope all is well with you 2...

Art...everytime I see a flake of snow, I think of you. LOL And sometimes not in a good way. hahahahahaha Of course Im messing with you. LOL But I do think...hmmmmm...gloomy grey miserable here..wonder what Arts weather is like...

Well...Im off to run some errands before I have to go back to work tomorrow. My new glasses came in and will pick them up next week when the office is open. Otherwise, nothing that spectacular going on apart from work and day to day activities.

Have a great day all!

Hi Judy glad you popped in. Thanks for the advice, yes I need to circulate more but my problem is I'm lazy

And it seems to me today, meeting people is all done over social media, there's Facebook, twitter, instant messaging, email, text, it goes on. I have to check 7 different technologies just to see if I've been rejected, it's exhausting

LOL @ social media dating.. LOL Im not Facebook or Twitter. I am fortunate, or I suppose not so fortunate that I work with a LOT of women who are always setting me up with someone's cousin or a neighbour, brother in law or husband's colleague or some other lone ranger they know that might possibly be "so perfect for you". UGH! LOL I suppose its the mothering thing they want to see me settled down again. Even though I dont want to be too settled. ;-) Wes...I forget how old you are, in your 30's still aren't you? Get out there & stop being lazy. LOL When you need to take a break, take a break. ;-) No women at the watering holes you go to? For me, I dont want to get to know someone on the other side of the world because I have a 45 min driving radius rule. LMAO

Hi, all. Wes, Judy, I feel for you with the dating scene. Arleen and I are coming up on 46 years of married life (a couple months of bliss thrown in there ) and I can't imagine getting back into the dating game. My daughter (42) is in the process of getting a divorce (fortunately no kids and no major property to be split) so she's back into that scene. Ugh!!

Wes, Carl: Which one of you is Bevis and which of you is Butthead? I can't tell from this angle.

Oh, I forgot to add this tidbit of an experience I had on Tuesday. I was working on my unit and since Im doing tech support with ICU nurses, I wear civilian clothes not my scrubs which allows me to wear my watches. Tuesday I had on my Sub. A resident working that day who a total knob & pretty much an arrogant, snotty a$$. He was going on & on with another resident about his upcoming trip to Japan blah blah blah. Most residents have student debt up to their yin yangs & this pompous a$$ was being insensitive. I noticed he had a blue dial Seamaster on. I rolled my chair a bit closer and draped my left arm over the chair back so basically my watch was in his face. LOL I turned non chalantly and he had his mouth wide open staring at my watch. LOL I have never been introduced to him, dont know him and thankfully dont have to work with him that closely. Mind you, in 24 yrs I have faced more than one of his kind. ;-) He cut his story short and thankfully cause I was tired of hearing him go on and on about it. He then attempted several times to talk to me and was trying to be pleasant. LOL I blew him off. He did quite a few times try to sit beside me on my left side. LOL I put my hand in my pocket. LOL Now keep in mind, I told none of my co-workers about either of my watches. I didn't announce anything. Normally I dont wear them to work and they didnt look. Works for me. ;-) And so I never get attention from them. Nor do I go looking for it. I wear my watches just as I would any other watch brand I would put on. But Tuesday, I wanted to shove that watch down that residents throat. Oh well...he is young, one day I hope he grows up.

Im still chuckling about it. :-D

46 years?! Wow..congratulations to you (especially for those couple of blissful months! )

I feel for your daughter. I was 45, not 42 and no kids, which was truthfully a blessing in disguise. I wish her strength & happiness. The dust will settle and life will be clear again. Tell her we might not have our youth but our 1 greatest advantage, even if it doesn't appear so, is that we are mature women with no children.

My wife and I have been married for 7 years but been together for 20 years now....I would hate to be single again.
We have had mild weather in Cypress TX the past week and had to turn on A.C. in the afternoons when its pushing 80.
Neither one of us has felt that great lately ....Delia with Diabetes and me with arthritis is a daily struggle for both of us....

Judy, he sure had a funny reaction I must admit.

Wes, don't be so jealous just because you're a butthead...I mean Butthead...

Like Judy said, I just happened to reply first, you have to work on those reflexes my friend.

Judy: Good for you!
Bill: NICE article
All: Hiya. Been trying to get the law firm off the ground. Started a Fundable campaign for the firm, and an Indegogo campaign to market my children's book. I've applied for SBA loans, am picking up clients, and am slowly starting to believe I can do this. Both the Fundable and Indegogo stuff is bombing terribly, but I'm still pushing on.

URLs if anyone wants them provided off list.

Work work work... Need more play. Maybe next year :-)

Lisa did you see the new Black Bay, or Blue bay? Really like this and prefer it to the red. The red is a bit too colourful for me. Tudor website has both pictured so sure you'll still be able to get the red when Tudor comes to Oki.

Meh, I saw the pic yesterday but I really prefer the aged red look. This one's okay, but not as interesting to me. I love a bit of color, you know!

I personally really like the red one but when I saw the blue model I was amazed, it looks so nice!
