My M5 had this, squeaky and dirty brakes. It’s a known issue with the compound brake materials they use. I ended up swapping them for ceramic pads. No squeaks, much less dust, and I haven’t noticed a diff in braking performance. Car stops on a dime.

I finally took it out this past Friday for the first time. I admit, it was a bit intimidating. I have had cars at this level, but this felt different. Super high quality, super fast and it just gets to much attention.

The next day I was much more comfortable. I took it into the city with a friend for dinner. And man o man, I had a blast. I was a little uncomfortable with all the attention. But I will get over it.

I took it out again on Sunday for a real drive. I am obsessed with this car.

I definitely need to get a lot more time behind the wheel before I am really comfortable. It just feels so fast. Even in comparison to the Turbo S....it just feels fast.

And tbh, it feels a lot more special.

I maintain the 911 is the perfect car. It is not perfect at anything. But does everything super. This car is a real super car. A true exotic and a blast to drive.

The thing which surprised me is how alive the car felt especially considering I was coming from an F12 (scary) and also have a GT3 (dialed in and razor sharp). The F8 does not leave me wanting at all. Also it’s crazy comfortable even with bumpy road mode inactive.

I always thought the GT3 was the best car I had ever owned but the F8 definitely has it beat.

yes, I was very surprised at how comfortable it is. which is important to me. but this was shocking. they really did a great job on these. what an amazing car.

I cannot wait until the weekend. so excited to go back out again.

brother, that is an epic garage.

but the entry way is tight. similar to mine. which is crazy stressful when pulling in.

my SVR was less stressful. But the F8 is really challenging going in because it is so wide. on the way out is easy as I have the mirror. but going in, I have two inches on each side.

if it was that car....I would have a panic attack.

but damn....what garage.
