Hi, Karis. Glad you break away from the baby to stop by. Always good to see you here.

Hey, guys! Karis, it is good to hear from you. I bet that sweet little baby is growing so fast and keeping you busy.

Yep, it's been busy here at home, too. I've been volunteering quite a bit at my daughter's high school, keeping tabs on the car restoration, and trying to get the fall gardening stuff done. Will be planting 30 tulip bulbs tomorrow.

Bas, it looks like you're doing great in school! The friend of a friend here in Oklahoma started watchmaking school last month. I had no idea we even had such a school, but apparently we do. Hope it's going well for you.

And thanks, guys, for the birthday wishes. I am 51 now and that seems really weird! I guess I'll get used to it.

Nighty-night!

Nice to hear from you ladies! I feel all alone in this great big sea of testosterone. Please pop in a bit closer will ya.

Karis...how's the baby? I bet time is flying!

Lisa, you sound busy too with 3 major projects on the go. Any general idea when the car will be complete? 51...dont worry about it! You look young. I told you that last year when you turned 50. Us old gals are aging V E R Y slowly.

I've got some very exciting news to share. My ex signed the separation agreement & the divorce agreement on the same day last week. Woooo hoooo... To say I'm happy is an UNDERSTATEMENT. It has taken us 3 years to get to this stage. I have no reason to go crazy but so so so relieved no more BS, no more retainers, no more communication with anyone involved in my case. I chill out till I get my settlement at the end of October. :-D Life is certainly a lot more brighter now than it was last week. :-D

Old crew? Are there more than one?

Which crew are we all part of? How about you make a diagram or something...I'm all confused!

Congrats, Judy. Now if I could just get my daughter to go through with hers, I'd be happy as a clam. Even though they've been separated for over a year and she moved back from Dallas 14 months ago, she still hasn't taken those final steps.

Randy, even though I joined to get today's freebies, I get the feeling you're just copying this well established Coffeeshop. Let's hope you don't draw people away from this place. We need to keep the old Coffeeshop in business.

Separated over a year & nothing started?!! And a dad who's a lawyer? Uh oh. Thankfully, my BFF is a lawyer. Was great to have her go through my file, find the BS & help me understand the jargon. I really liked my lawyer, he was sharp & tried to keep the opposing council's games down to a minimum. But to have access to free legal advice is fantastic. My lawyer made me laugh a couple weeks ago. He pulls out his very old chocolate bar style phone (pre-smart phone days). I started laughing. He said it still works why change it. I said because I pay you $350/hr & thats what you use? Update it. Your clients will feel better when they hand over their money to you. He needed to send a fax so I told him there's an app for that.

All this divorce talk takes me back 27/28 years ago when I lost everything in a divorce. No car ....no money ( I had less than 300 bucks) ....only a 84 Harley and a few clothes. I could move all my stuff on the bike. I had to do a Scarlett O'Hara and swear I would never eat top Ramen noodles again. I guess the divorce made me wise up.....20 years later I retired.
