Made a trade to pull in a Blanton’s Gold, which I’ve been out of stock for a while. Coincidentally, it arrived and was my birthday dump date. It’s not my bday, but couldn’t help but crack it after this absurd week.

I like to drink whiskey. We often play poker with friends. And one of the attributes is whiskey.

Just picked up a case of it. Good stuff. Nice pull on the birthday dump date, that’s pretty cool!

I think most auction sites are in the UK or Europe. I'm not aware of any in the US. I don't think that disqualifies you, but international shipping over to one of those sites would definitely eat into whatever profits you make on the bottles.

The first picture is a pickup from Must Have Malts in the Netherlands, finally snagged some of that WT Father & Son at a good price. Also been looking for the Evan Williams 12/101 for a while.

Second picture is a bottle from a local distillery down the road from me. This is a barrel proof single barrel from a local store, I have snagged 4 different barrels at this point. Their stuff is phenomenal. They have a BiB Rye that got 92 or 93 points in Whisky Advocate last year, right out the gate.

These days, I seem to be trending more towards Wild Turkey and small distilleries doing good and interesting things. I still pick up hard to find bottles of my guy calls me about them, but I find myself drinking more micro-distillery and WT juice.

Which whiskey are you drinking tonight

Yamazaki 12 for me tonight, as per the caption the only time it’s acceptable to mix Pepsi with whiskey

Y'all too rich for my blood.

I usually drink the cheap stuff at Costco, but I decided to splurge a little and got a big bottle of an old friend

$26.99 at BevMo

I've tried finding it in the search queue but nothing comes up. I have to go into my previous posts to find it then jump to the end. Something's up...
