Antarctique S sold out on Czapek’s site by the time I could check. Guess I’ll keep an eye out for other drops later this year, or the aftermarket.

I see a few gray market dealers pricing Passage de Drake over $30k. Does that align with what you all have seen? Seems steep, and C24 already has about ~50 watches for this low-production brand.

Not a side by side per se, but both are on my wrist at a similar angle. For reference my wrist is 7.25” most days.

There’s a listing here been up since January and it’s at 24k. If you had to sell today I venture you’d get 18k or thereabouts.

Do not buy a czapek to make money buy it because you love the brand and the watch! If they appreciate then awesome that’s icing on the cake but it can’t be the reason you order or you’ll likely be disappointed.

Money is definitely not the goal! The Antarctique is lovely, but I'm hoping to understand the market and avoid overpaying.

The more I see if the skeleton the more I love it. Definitely top 2 with the AP RO.

Seriously, it’s already sold out? List was open for weeks last year

It sold out online within the first few hours; maybe less actually. It was already sold out when I checked at around 5pm CET (book opened at 3pm). Though they were only selling 21 online, the other 79 to their AD network. So if you want one, you still might be able to find one with an AD... or wait until next year when they release the next batch of 100.

I took delivery of my Glacier Blue Antarctique yesterday. Here’s a wrist shot.

I’m planning to make a post with my impressions once I’ve had a week or so with the watch.

Can anyone do me a huge favor and make a wrist roll video? Just want to get a better idea of how the bracelet plays with the light.

If someone can reach me how to easily post a video on here, I have one on my phone. I tried Tapatalk, but that only seems to allow pics.

Yesterday, I stopped in Oster Jeweler's in Denver. Jeremy was a delight as always. I had the chance to view/handle/try on a couple of Fabourg de Cracovies...
I absolutely love my Antarticque and find it essential, but after seeing the Fabourg in person, I think it isn't getting it's due attention.
The Guilloche dial, design, case, and movement are spectacular. I saw the bleu panda and secret alloy. I hope to see the Aventurine dial. I'm interested in this, although a bit concerned it might be a little too showy for a regular or weekend wear.
Would like to see more chatter about the other Czapek models...

Wow, I just went to the website to see the model and there were FOURTEEN versions! For a small boutique brand that seems like a lot!

14 versions since 2018, all 18 pieces each.

That's not a lot, imho

Did the math, 252 chronographs in total, 42 per year.

I saw this as well. At the risk of offending someone - it appears Czapek's emerging portfolio strategy is a hybrid of something like AP and H Moser & Cie. Why?

* AP in terms of similarities with having two predominant model families (the Antarctique and the Quai Des Bergs)
* Moser in terms of having similar-ish annual production volumes w/a non-trivial % of that volume tied to 'limited edition' variants of the main model line

I'm hoping its a good strategy for them, and of course this is a complete outsider opinion!
