Are there any differences between DD watches from 1975 to 1995? Someone told me pre 1990 DD watches did not have a solid gold bracelet(hollow).

Well they say what goes around comes around
Now after many years owning & wearing some of the most beautiful watches, it has been my privilege to wear. A few days before Christmas, I bought this lovely 9 year old DD, that a good friend of mine who happens to be an AD was selling on behalf of another client. It was always an ambition as a teenager into adulthood of mine to own such a beautiful watch. Back then It had to be Y/G, have a champagne dial sitting on a President bracelet. So, back in 1999 when I was 41, I happened to be walking past the said AD who had a pre owned DD that fulfilled all my criteria's. So 3 hours later it was sitting on my wrist. But then what did Rolex do, a few months later, they changed the bracelet as well as which parts of the watch was polished & which parts where not. I was now completely hooked, so after a bit of wheeling & dealing my AD agreed to buy back the old DD, at the same price, that he sold it. And I walked away with a brand spanking new DD. Several years later, I again updated the DD for a new one, which had the slightly modified clasp. Ironically, all apart from the 1st DD were purchased around Christmas time! Now fast forward to today, I again am the proud owner of a DD. The only difference being, is now the dial is white, why, because it's easier to read! Apologise, for the poor phone photos, but I took them during the wee early hours of Christmas morning, while I was at work. PS, I always think that Y/G suits hairy arms better, what do you think
