Wow, you cool photos of coffee. I am a barista, maybe I'll take something new for myself. I want to buy a milk frother on Amazon, so far I have been reading reviews about different models - https://milkfrothertop.com/breville-...rother-review/

Anyone here familiar with J Martinez?
They serve some great coffees in some of the best restaurants here in Atlanta. I'm buying a few different coffees from them but am curious to know if anyone has had them?

TRF ~ Coffee Lovers Thread!

I’ve just spent the weekend at the Spanish GP

The fancy new Red Bull motorhome has a Jura coffee machine and the coffee in Pirelli motorhome was absolutely superb!! (I’d of expected no less from an Italian team )

Hey Guys -- I have learned a lot from this thread. I'm looking at a Saeco Xelsis or a Breville Oracle Touch. I've used the Breville before and it seemed pretty good. I've never used the Saeco. Anyone have any experience with either one of these? Or can recommended something else. I've tried the Jura's and I like them, but on the hottest temperature selection, milk drinks come out luke warm at best. I can't have that. Thanks.

Aha, another coffee lover. As background, I grind my beans everyday and am also an Espresso nut. My advice is if you want excellent fresh coffee beans at a good price visit World Market. They import fabulous coffee, and.....you join their club and receive free bags of coffee on a pretty frequent basis. Highly recommended. Mark

I prefer Ethiopian Yirgacheffes due to their subtle floral and citrusy notes.
Grounded with a commandante c40 grinder to my personal liking, brewed with a Hario V60, 1:15 coffee-water ratio, using the Kasuya 4:6 method, with water temp at 199F.

Wow, impressive indeed!
I’m more of a pour over coffee drinker than an espresso drinker, but a La Marzocco means serious business.

Anyone here have a Hario Uchi insulated mug? Is it any good?

Getting tired of the coffee at work, want to take my own pour over brew with me.

Travelling in Japan. I really miss my La Marzocco when on the road. But this aeropress/porlex combo does a great job.

If you have access to a kettle at work, then I would recommend leaving a grinder and filter there rather brewing and storing. Freshly ground is always worth the effort.

My setup: the Elektra Lever - 100% manual machine. Right now I’m pulling shots with beans from Peru, tasting notes: caramel, pears, cherries

Love the Postal Service.
Ordered my bean from my usual supplier - normally delivered to door in 3 days.
Fortnight later still no bean. Checked the tracking to9 find it has been doing circuits around a couple of southern states.
It finally arrived on Day 10 looking a bit battered.
Just noticed that the bag has been busted open in the corner, so it has been exposed to the air for at least a while.
Bean doesn't look/smell affected so hopefully all good.

A couple of reputable roasters right there. If you get a chance, I recommend you search out a Korean mob roasting in Sydney called Normcore.
