Same. I picked up a yellow G-Shock Royal Oak a few months ago. The novelty wore off quite fast and haven’t worn it at all lately.

It’s been in the closet for some time.

My Timex Q gets more wear.

Give me lume or give me death.

Just picked up mine from Ends Canada, was in stock, arrived in 3 days - first "beater" watch I'll actually wear - great fitting watch and love the analog.

So yup, that's it - a sign from The Universe.

My gym closed again....

I finally said, "Enough!!" and have an Olympic Weight set coming, and a Bench/Squat rack with Preacher Curl and Leg Curls coming.

And with this, means after my gym closed the first time, I took up running - got up to 6k - hated every second of it - but with the second closing with along this Omen I realize it's back to...

....pounding the pavement for me!

It turns out, the Universe does work in mysterious ways....

I've had a Rolex and a Casio in my matchbox all of my adult life. Yours looks great, OP.

This is what I’m afraid of. I like the G-Shock Royal Oak. However, I don’t want it to sit in my draw after a couple of months.

They were in stock on the US one, which if you land on this link, should take you to US site, just look it up, they had a couple 4 days ago.

Been wearing mine all day, very light on the wrist, and love the analog face....tons of functions, great lume, light, kinda shocked at how much I like this watch :-)

This one just looks awesome. I think the read-ability of the dial works most of the time except for very low light situation.

For those in the UK who have been thinking about getting one: CW Sellors / Jura watches have them on sale for £89 (Black with grey indices) and £95 (Black on Black). Both listed as in-stock on the website

I have the former and love it!

G-Shock Royal Oak

I bought the black on black - can’t see a bloody thing on it - but love its stealth look. :)

Buy a torchlight to go with it though ..... hahahhahaha

Scored the new CasiOak GA-2110ET-8ACR in the grey colors. I like the two tone in the same color scheme and positive display as compared to the other color offering. This color scheme really shows the texture and design of the dial. First pic out of box.

I like the positive display, as you can guess. But I have 2 CasiOaks,I’ll let others have a chance.

I agree with the positive display. The grey really shows off the dial and the light really illuminates it. I bought mine from Casio. Still available.

G-Shock Royal Oak

I see they sold out in a day or less. I bought mine yesterday afternoon and it was shipped that night and delivered the next morning, today

I caved and bought the gray CasiOak as modeled by SunTzu above. Bought it from Hodinkee, out of stock at Casio. I like it, particularly the positive and somewhat readable date display window.

Thanks for the link. Interesting read to hear the behind the scenes process from design through production straight from the horse’s mouth

Enjoy it! I love the color tones and find it all very legible especially when compared to others. The link above from the Hodinkee article show it was intended for youth fashion. But still nice for the older crowd. According to Casio I don’t think they anticipated such success with this model.

I’ve got this in army green and think it’s a good watch for things like working in the yard and swimming

Loving the grey and can’t wait for it to be released locally.

Just imagine all the colour combinations they are going to release (just like the squares)!
