Well, flying out tomorrow after a half day at work.

Things are getting exciting and we have quite a turn out coming.

Ok guys, I just rounded up as much Rolex paraphanelia as I could find and put together a few displays. I'm going to continue looking and see what else I can find, but I was able to round up some fun pieces.

Enjoy!

And.. yours truly.

Well with the late night storms that came in, it left a nasty mess. I woke up to limbs down and small roof damage. So I was not able to make the drive to ky. They are calling for more storms this week so I needed to fix these new problems. Hope it was a blast and can't wait to see pictures and here the great stories. Damn weather.

I enjoyed meeting everyone at Merkley Kendrick's this afternoon and thanks to Fred and Stan for putting this together. Sorry I couldn't join you all at the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Hope you had a good time. These are awesome Rolex hats that Merkley Kendrick so graciously gave everyone. I'm sure there will be plenty of photos to follow.

WHAT A BLAST!!!
Thanks to Fred and Stan, our generous GTG host's.
Thanks to Merkley Kendrick Jewelers for their hospitality a generosity.
Thanks to all the TRF members who participated.
We had a great time. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel, coffee at Starbuck's, a visit to Merkely Kendrick, and a dinner to finish off a great GTG. A total of 13 TRF members, many great watch references brought by each, and Fred left with a brand smackin' new GMT IIc.
And thanks to TRF for making all of this possible.

It was a great GTG here in Kentucky
Lots of chatting and even discovered other common interests besides watch.

Stan and Fred : Thanks for the great GTG arrangement (and thanks for the great looking T-shirt)

Wes and great folks at Merkley Kendricks : Thanks for the great hospitality (and thanks for the raffle prizes)

Pav and Mike : Thanks for the long trip out to KY.

Unclesallie : Thanks for joining us for dinner (how was the cab ride to Louisville East End?)
Make sure to upload the photo (you know what I'm talking about)

Hope to see ya all soon!

...simply stated.....AWESOME...

...we had one of the GREATEST times a TRF member could ask for!

...unless, the AD would have raffled off a NEW Platty...

...missed TerryN and John (springer). Maybe next time!

...EVERYONE in attendance have already indicated that they want to do this AGAIN....and maybe SOONER than next year!!!!

...what a FUNTASTIC TIME!! Truly wish John and Terry could have been here..

...mck22-hopefully the next time you will be able to make it!

...see everyone on the forums.

...our hat's off to our wonderful hosts at Merk-Ken. They had condiments and ANYTHING that you wanted to sip on while there!

Stan.

Guys it was great to meet everyone and thanks for the planning. I wish I could have stayed for dinner but had to get home. It was amazing to see the watches that everyone brought with them and check out some of the beauties that were there.
Thanks again!
