Just started Haunting of Hill House. Good so far.

And Peaky Blinders is one of the best fookin shows ever. Cillian Murphy is incredible, as is the rest of the cast. If I were to pick a most underrated show, that would be it.

Peaky Blinders is by far one of the best modern series. Can't recommend it enough.

Sopranos meets Downton Abbey post-WW1.

The new season of “Fargo” on FX. Watched the first episode and got totally drawn in. And no way Jose do we really talk like that in Minnesota.

Yeah! Its kind of like a game for sure... I'm not sure if I'm digging it. I just don't feel a sense if urgency and fear of death like there was in the first one. We will have to see. TBD

Bye Bye Barry on Prime. Barry Sanders is a truly humble human being and one of the top three running backs to play in the NFL.

I knew he played in the most World Series, I knew he was the Yankees Managers go to man, I knew he knew how to call the game, I just didn’t know how many MVPs he won and how few times he struck out. I also didn’t know how good a manager he was.

Personally I think he was more of a legend than he was given credit for.

Watched Barbie. Thought it would be good, got good reviews. I’m likely not in the target market, but this was a steaming pile. Cannot recommend. At all.

Just started Black Spot. It’s a slow burn so far with beautiful cinematography, will try to finish this one.

My wife wanted to watch Barbie so I felt obligated to watch it with her since she appeases me with some of my shows. I thought it was extremely boring and I have no idea why this movie made $1.4 billion. I may not be the target audience either but I can appreciate a good movie even if it isn't something I am interested in but this movie was just flat out terrible.

Loved Barry Sanders. Didn't he explain his lack of touchdown celebrations with something like "Why would I do that? I've been in the endzone before and I'll be there again." Perfect answer.

For an actual recommendation, I think they've been mentioned before but Midnight Mass, Haunting of Hill House, Haunting of Blythe Manor - loved each one of those. I like spooky/horror stuff but am not a big fan of shows that rely on gore & violence, the shows I mentioned were perfect for my tastes.

I just watched Leave the World Behind. It’s an interesting psychological thriller that leaves a lot to open interpretation. Basic plot is the fall of society/end of the world through a NYC family’s eyes.

I didn't hate it. A lot of folks were mad at the ending but it was fine with me. A lot of the stuff in it to me made no sense and was just for effect.

On Netflix...

Just finished season 1 and it was good. Recommend it if you like murder mystery crime thrillers! There are 4 seasons.

THE SINNER Official Trailer (HD) Jessica Biel Drama Series

The first installment of the close-ended series follows a young mother (Jessica Biel) who, when overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage, commits a startling act of violence and to her horror has no idea why. The event launches an inverted and utterly surprising crime thriller whose driving force is not the “who” or the “what” -- but the “why” -- as an investigator (Bill Pullman) finds himself obsessed with uncovering the woman's buried motive. Together they travel a harrowing journey into the depths of her psyche and the violent secrets hidden in her past.
