Oh Jim, those pics are gorgeous! You really don't need an excuse here to post them, feel free anytime!

My husband is really not that good at taking pictures... Maybe I'll give him a chance...

You know, this morning at 4:45 I woke up from a really scary nightmare, and everytime I'd close my eyes my mind would go back to those images of the nightmare, so I decided to get up and make some breakfast for my hubby who starts work at 6am.
At 11am I started to feel a little sleepy again, so I decided to take a nap (since I have to perfect excuse now) and I didn't wake up until 2:15pm!
Now I'm probably not going to be tired tonight! I hate it when that happens!

Anybody know any good remedies to get back to sleep right after a nightmare?

I'm a compulsive Catholic, so rattling off a half dozen "Hail Marys" usually does the trick for me!

Ever since I understood the concept of original sin, I have not been the same. The wife, fianlly, can accept the fact I have been sprinkled and dunked.

I collect old pinups. Strange hobby for a woman, I know. Everyone always assumes they're my husband's.

Mireyna, definitely have your husband involved in the photos! I do have a few different pose tips for you, and tomorrow at work if it's not busy I'll try to take some pictures of myself with a fake tummy so that I can give you visuals!
Important poses: (And don't forget to be on an angle to maximize how big the tummy is!)
- 3/4 pose, get most of the body (to the knees)
- A close-up on the belly and hands (make sure that your husbands hands are there as well, on top of yours)
- 3/4 pose again, but get your husband in behind you, his chest to your back, with his hands on top of yours
- For the shots of just you, do different things with your face. You can smile towards the camera, look more serious towards the camera, a small benevolent smile while looking down at your tummy, and even looking off above the camera
- Have your husband kneel down so that he's level with your tummy, and have him looking up at you, looking at your belly smiling softly, and with eyes closed and perhaps an ear up against your belly. He should be looking up in awe at you, by the way! You could also have his cheek against your belly, you standing in profile, him hugging you close and smiling towards the camera
- Both of you standing in profile looking towards each other, him kissing your forehead if you want! Make it a little bit candid with this kind of shot, even if you two are just looking at each other, loosen up and really laugh, because I'll bet that both of you are a little uncomfortable. It will be worth it, I promise!
If you are comfortable enough to do some more risque shots, if you can, find a nice gauzy kind of robe, or even just a translucent scarf or whatever they're called, you can drape it over yourself in different ways. In fact, I am most definitely going to get some shots taken as examples for you within the next two days, your due really soon!
*It's nice when doing prenatal shots when you have one hand on top of the curve of your belly, and one underneath. It really shows off how globular it is! :) *
I hope that some of these ideas sound good to you, and I can't wait to do some photo's for you. And I am so excited to see them if you want to share them!!

Those are some great ideas! Thank you!
I look forward to the pics you'll come up with! Man, now I really really wished you could do this for me! (How expensive would it be to fly out here?)

I was going to say that it would be a greater cost to my schooling than to my bank account (but then I realized pay day is not for two weeks ) Then I realized that you are not allowed to fly in your very pregnant state, and therefore you cannot come out here!

I am so excited to take "prenatal" shots tomorrow! The girls at work will think that I'm crazy

Sorry Mireyna, no pictures today! My entire studio is down. I sat there for four hours doing nothing but reading. Hopefully it will be back up by Friday. Regardless, go out there and get those photos done!!

I'm so glad that I can record stuff while I watch a different channel. I'm all about the Canadian Leader debate, it's got more drama than a year's worth of soap operas!!
I loooove it!
