Rolex Crown now part of "Swiss Made" Text
Anyone else notice this on the new GMT? Will this be standard across all Rolex now?

I like it but hope it won't replace the LEC.

Interestingly, it does not show on the new blue dial for the GMT IIc in WG.

I think its unnecessary, makes the face feel a bit heavier on the bottom and cluttered by the text. Also makes it feel unbalanced on the DJ's with the larger coronet at the 12 position which it invariably compares/competes against.

I like this blue dial much better than the black - it really works with the bezel. |

Well now we will have a way to date random serial numbers. 2011-2019 will be sans coronet. Everything after with the cornet.

Seems this is for new movement models starting from 2018 forward. The SD43 doesn't have it but maybe it will start now, making the 2017 SD43s a bit unique.

I honestly don’t like it but it’s definitely done to throw counterfeiters off for at least a few years. If you see non-Baselworld 2018 watches with this coronet you will instantly know they’re fugazi. It’s small and I’m sure pretty detailed when looking at it under a lupe.
