Crown unscrewed itself overnight

Has anybody ever experienced a crown unscrewing itself? I woke up this morning to an unscrewed crown on my Bluesy. I am pretty anal about making sure the crown is screwed down tightly after winding the watch, but it’s certainly possible I spaced out.

Anybody ever experienced something like this?

Never.

I've heard of sleep walking. Maybe you have an offshoot of that?

Its impossible for the winding crown to unscrew by itself, and the crown only needs screwing down just finger tight no force is needed

yeah, I highly doubt that it unscrewed by itself.

Got any ghost?

I don’t know. I thought I shut the lights off in the family room last night. When I woke up this morning, they were still on.

Yep. I've spaced out a few times myself! I have found some watches set at the wrong time and some with the crown unscrewed. Once in the shower!

Never overnight. My crown usually unscrews itself right before I jump in the ocean.

Never but I bet you are a very active mover when you sleep with your watch hand under your pillow. That would explain the pressure against your crown as you move your arm.

37 years, never once.
However... I've definately forgotten to screw it down, or thought I did and realize I failed...

Yup, you spaced-out. At least you didn't wake up to an empty carton of ice cream & think "Did I eat that last night?" (Spoiler alert... also Yup!)

No it didn't. You either did it yourself and forgot or someone else did.

Nope, can't unscrew itself. When was the last time you unscrewed it? Methinks it was the night before the unscrewed morning. HMMMMMMMM?

Yeah, it's definitely possible for a crown to unscrew itself, especially if it wasn't tightened properly. Sometimes, even with the best intentions, it can happen if you accidentally bump it or if there's a bit of wear and tear on the threads. It’s good that you’re careful about it, though! Just keep an eye on it moving forward.

Sometimes I set the time 10 minutes or even an hour ahead by mistake, and I panic when I notice it, thinking “Oh no my watch is moving fast!” only to realize it was my own doing
