Advice to a newb

I've been a member of this forum for a little under three weeks now and am really impressed with the congeniality of its members. I have a dilemma regarding a current sale and I'd like some advice. I have a watch on sale in the buying & selling forum and was offered a specific amount. I accepted his offer and gave him all of my information for payment. The prospective purchaser said he would send the money after I sent all of this information. I've included all of my personal info, including both home and work numbers, and I haven't heard back from him after sending two PMs. I know he's been on this forum well after I've sent the PMs. What I don't like is the fact that I've given out all of my personal information to a stranger whom I know nothing about. He hasn't given me any of his information, since he never paid me and never gave me a mailing address. My question to you all is: Should I divulge his username on this forum? Is this sub-forum strictly for transactions that have been completed or is it used for instances like this as well?
