Grail hunt this last winter.
Ah, yes well..., I have been mostly grail hunting this winter and had some success!
I have wanted a Montblanc 139 for decades, but I either couldn't find a near-mint example or didn't want to shell out the $4000.00 plus to acquire one. In February I made the acquaintance of a kind attorney that has been collecting writing instruments for the last 2 decades and has a lovely collection. I was able to pick up not only a 139, but also a 138 both in exquisite condition! Enjoy the pics. Montblanc 139 Montblanc 138 [IMG][/IMG]

Sadly we write less and less with modern technology the way it has evolved our lives, I can’t honestly remember the last letter I wrote or sent … 10 emails so far today though .. lovely pictures ..

Very nice. I enjoy pens and Mont Blanc is the leading brand for me.

So true! But I have found that when I take time to handwrite a note or letter, it is much more valued far above any email. My mother has been in heaven for 13 years and I can't tell you what her letters mean. Treasured puts it mildly!
