Thanks guys. It's not as 'black' as I thought it would be, which I suppose is why it's called 'vintage black'. I may darken it with some mink oil. I'll have to live with it a bit before deciding. But that pre-V buckle will be replaced with a thumbnail buckle next week when it arrives from Germany.

Mamas, your first mistake was assuming I was a well balanced individual before I got the panny. Besides Mr. Kettle, how many Omegas do you have?

That is weird. But glad it got there anyways.

I think I am going to have a fire sale on some straps this weekend. Time to get rid of some old ones and hunt for some new ones.

Now, I totally see what you mean about the buckle. That combo looks fabulous, though. Great pick, Johnny

Never thought I'd say this, John, but I like it. Great combo, and next to the GMT, that is a nice looking watch. Simple but elegant. The small second hand keeps it from being too plain.

Yes like it, but getting a little bit concerned now, over this
increased leather fetish, and now the use bloody mink oil as well.

It looks nice!! I think black suits the watch well, but of course, I would have to recommend a nice brown strap - suitably thick and soft, with plenty of mink oil rubbed in LOL!!
