Chronograph Poll

I was just curious... how many chronograph owners do we have on TRF?

Criteria is simple: must be mechanical and must have subdials. Having a rotating bezel does not count as a chronograph.

I have three chronos.

Had a Breitling Crosswind....the stationary hand and the camouflaged hands on white dial drove me insane. No more....sorry!

I would love a chrono that has a large second hand for every day and the the subdial second hand to be used for stop watches, not the other way around as most are now. (Probably been done)

Yep, got a speedy pro, too.
Absolutely love it! I'm trying to convince the accountant to include it as a tax write-off as well.....not holding my breath!

Also have an old(ish?) Heuer split-seconds stopwatch, which I dug out from a drawer, I think it was my dad's while he was young. Poor thing really needs a service.

BTW, great pics as usual Chip!

I try often to love the chronograph, to me they are some of the coolest looking watches. But I am in the middle on them. Don't love 'em, and for sure don't hate 'em. Knowing me I am sure at one time or another I will own a few more.

Not a fan of chronographs, so no plans to ever get one (okay, maybe a JLC Amvox 2 if I had the money, but that would be the only one).

I've got this one:

and this one:

and this one:

which I guess doesn't quite count because the chrono function is digital.

And a whole bunch of Casios which have chronos as only one of their many functions; but those chronos are all digital.

I have these two and love them. I've always been a fan of the chrono complication

Omega SMP chrono diver - A.K.A. "The Tank"

The Tutima F2 Flieger chrono. This one is definitely one of my favorites

Only one mechanical.

But I'm hoping to get one with a Lemania 5100 movement before the prices start to skyrocket.

Ed, the more I read about and see that X-33, the more I want one. What a very cool watch.

I really like mine, Daren. It's got plenty of functions for me to play with and it's accurate as hell.

I used to really like them but then realized that if I want to time something accurately, I'd prefer something digital. I can appreciate the mechanics and some are really cool looking but I don't think I'll ever own another one.

I have six: an '05 Rolex Daytona (white dial, fat hands), three Omega Speedmasters ('65 Pre-Pro, '66 Pro Pre-Moon, and '98 Pro Moon Watch), a '67 Heuer Autavia and a WW-II era Chronographe Suisse.
