NYC Meet-Up

Hello all,

I'm thinking of setting up a watch meet-up for people who live in NYC and the surrounding areas. This will just be a casual get-together to talk about watches over drinks somewhere in Manhattan. Is anyone interested?

Let me know your preferences. Bar or coffee shop? Weekday or weekend?

If there already is one of these meet-ups let me know.

Great. It would be nice if we could get at least five to ten people together. I will try posting in the general discussion.

We've done these before on and off.

Happy to attend if timing works out. I've been to three get togethers over the past 10 years. 1 I organized at a nice lounge. Another was done at a tailor shop. A third, and the largest get together, was done at a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn. All were pretty fun.

Would absolutely be available. If we get lucky, might have some nice weather left before the end of year and can do an outdoor event.

I ended up finding and joining a watch meet-up group called Redbar. Look into it if you are interested in joining.

Hey All! Redbar is the largest collector community in NYC. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a casual meetup.

I’ve done some meetups with people here before as well. How do I get in touch with REDBAR group? I don’t have social media.

Just went through this myself. Google ‘red bar group’- they have a direct website. You’ll submit your request to join, and they’ll email a few questions to verify you’re a human interested in watches. From there they email the next meetup invite to you.
