Fun addition
Just picked this up as a little b day gift to myself. I probably nitpicked it when released. Frankly, considering market price on these it’s hard to argue with. Also in the past I would never have gotten blue when black is available but something clicked in my head that I should have a bit of variety to my dreary collection of black watches.
Very light and comfortable being titanium. Hopefully it proves reliable as I could see getting a lot of wrist time given the kind of watches I’m wearing lately. Size wise reminds me a bit of my former 40mm SDc although much lighter. No I won’t be selling my submariner anytime soon but happy to park this next to it for days when I’m feeling blue.

Congratulations. I've tried it on a couple times. Definitely wears smaller than 42

Great looking watch, congrats!
If it didn’t have the 4:30 date window I’d buy one.

Thank you!

Agreed. It’s about right for this watch. I’ve had the 40mm limiteds and for my wrist size 7” this is a better fit. Thank you Thanks Jackie

Thanks Zook. Now I just need to win that 126610LV to pair with it.

I hear you 100 percent on that. I’m in a weird space where I don’t care right now but that was my opinion prior. Thank you sir. Appreciate it! Thanks!

Congrats! For anyone that hasn't tried the new 42mm in person, the bezel action is so much better, one of the best. Feels like a ball bearing rather then a click spring, sooooooo nice!

Fun addition ?
To me this is the best diver ever made and it blows away a submariner. Owning both it's an easy decision for me. I do however have the bigger 45 mm in steel on an steel bracelet. And yes they do wear smaller ( you compared yours with a 40mm Rolex, well the 45mm was like a 42 mm watch :-) Enjoy yours !

Cool watch. It’s making me look at one now. I used to have the 45 in steel but that wore a little big.

Congratulations on an excellent watch!! I am a little biased. Bought the black 2 months ago and loved it so much I picked up the blue as well.
I have no complaints about this diver. So far perfection. |

Nice one. I have the brac version and it sees solids wrist time. Great dial and of course the lume. I agree the 40mm felt a bit small. Congrats

Congrats, love it in titanium, and Blancpain is so underrated like many of its Swatch group compatriots.

Regarding the sub, the point is you still have one This is of course objectively better finished and you aren't tattooing your bank statement on your arm the way you must with a Rolex. Quote:

Thank you sir. I should have known. We have probably owned or cross shopped 90% of the same watches under 50k at this point.

The movement is really quite good as well for the price. Lest we forget 120 hours power reserve in the cal 1315.

I had owned the black 5010 for about 3 weeks when I saw a blue being offered for sale here by a trusted seller for what I considered an excellent price. I bought it within minutes of it being posted for sale! I have sold 2 Rolexes and 3 others since buying these 5010’s. They are that good. For all the reasons you mention.
I’ll add I have the canvass, the rubber, and the nato. Blancpain makes an excellent nato strap! |
