After a year of working from home - started a new job in town about 8 weeks ago & finally got round to trying on the 683

Right size/ great looking watch / May go back for another look

However what got me was the price. £8500 RRP. No discount was offered / asked for on the day. Made sure I went in cardless incase I was tempted so didn’t push on price to me on day. The salesman was happy to let me try on watch/ leave without any hard sell.

Anyway - £8500 seemed a lot of cash for a diver on a rubber strap.
Not comparing it directly to anything in particular but a lot of divers on straps that maybe would consider before this with time to reflect

Doesn’t seem to be any secondary market in the uk that I can see so there either not selling or people buying/ keeping as so pleased

this model has been released for quite a while, I think every AD would offer 10, 15% discount easily.

I don’t think they will offer any discount in the U.K. i know the Panerai boutique did not offer a discount on this last time I went to get my 233 serviced.

Just picked up the same exact watch for close to 20% off US retail (not including sales tax) from a well known seller here on TRF.

My local AD was unwilling to even offer a discount. Its definitely worth it to look here if you still want one.

The seller must be getting bulk 30% off or something to then be able to offer 20% off

The PAM683 is listed for $10,000 USD. Which is £7240.34. Is their some VAT being added in your country? Panerai's usually get a nice discount, unless your shopping from the boutique. I'd recommend a reputable grey dealer.

PAM should be purchased pre owned. Find that or a similar model pre owned. You can find a deal somewhere
