I believe the e-steel Panerai's, of which they made 3 different ones, will be out in the fall sometime. Probably 4 months or so. I haven't heard about the Chronograph ones.

I just bought the Submersible Jimmy Chin edition. I don't believe it is advertised anywhere (or so I am told by the salesperson). Limited to 100 pieces. $19k; hopefully worth it. I realize it's not a chrono, but thought it might add to the discussion of new models.

Is this the 799 you are referring to? I tried that on in a W Palm Beach boutique. Very nice watch. If this is the one. I know Jimmy Chin endorsed and there was a short video about him and he was wearing it.

Enjoy that fantastic new watch. Congrats!

Check Robb Report for the Jimmy Chin Submersible Flyback 47mm edition one poster is referring. It was discussed in May. I couldn’t even find on the Panerai website.

I looked at one at my local boutique. Congratulations. Absolutely beautiful watch. I got a 7.75 inch wrist and it looked like a child was wearing the watch.

Haha yeah that worries me a bit. I suppose if I dislike it, someone would probably take it off my hands. If there really are only 100 of them, it might even be worth something one day.

It's a bit different from the 799, and sadly more expensive haha
There doesn't seem to be any advertising for it yet.
