Rolex clock NYYC model room — any info?

Does anyone have any information about the prominent Rolex clock that sets inside the Model Room in the NY Yacht Club? Can’t seem to find any information about age, history, placement, etc.

I am a member of the club.

The clock was a gift from one of the racing members - Hughbert Barnsley II. It was gifted along with a collection of models that are on display from the family. I'm trying to find a picture of HB's boats. The clock was placed in its current position when the model room was expanded. The model room now is used for members activities and functions and has green leather chesterfields and large mirrors to make it feel more grand. Lots of carved wood.

Barnsley was keen sailor but found comfort in the clubhouse with his fav drink.

This is the room as it used to be c/ archives.

It's like the Rolex clock at many golf events and various races...
Look at enjoy but you will have better luck finding a big diamond laying in the street in NYC
I know a few people who have ones from the 60's through 80's but these days Rolex owns them and loans them to the events/venues so much harder for them to go unaccounted for now.

Thks for the response. I’m not looking to buy it. It’s embedded into gorgeous wood paneling in the NYYC. Just looking for history or information about it. How did it come to be in the grand model room. When. Who. Etc. Club bldg dates to early Wilsdorf days etc.

Beautiful wood work/carvings. Is that a Tiffany glass ceiling? Just my curiosity.
