116500 for 26470ST
Good morning all,
I have an offer to trade my 116500 black dial for a 26470ST (even trade & bought at retail). I hardly wear the Daytona and think it may be a little small for me. I usually wear a 51mm garmin (95% of the time) and also have an SD43. I’ve been wanting to get into AP for a while and love the look of the Elephant. Could those with a trained AP eye take a look and see if the bezel and chamfers look good and not over polished and advise any pros / cons I may not be aware of Thank you! I have a black 116500 and it’s my favorite watch and I would never do that trade. But if you are not wearing it yeah go for it!

I think you would regret this trade very soon.
What about a nice Hublot in addition to the Daytona?? |

I do not like the 6-9-12 ROCs, so I would not do that trade.

I wouldn’t but you are the one that should make a choice. If you want to go through with it then by all means do.

Not for an offshore, only worth trading for a RO.

That watch gets absolutely scratched to heck. I had this watch in navy theme, because the bezel stands out a lot and is steel, it scratches all the time. Better as ceramic or similar.
My experience. Make the move up, but find a Royal Oak offshore with ceramic bezel if you want to go that route. That’s my opinion anyway. |
