Icon1 Audemars Piguet Ref. 14790 Royal Oak Information Guide

Looking to learn more about the Audemars Piguet 14790 Royal Oak...

I've put together a guide covering the 3 decades of production, deep diving on the different MK's, their key characteristics and special editions.

I posted this the other day on Instagram and wanted to share with you all on here. Thank you to everyone who contributed, information or photos, it couldn't have come together without you. Hope you find it useful! all the best, Ben

Super! If only this had been around when I was researching 14800 and 14790 references.

Wish someone would come forward to clear up the salmon dial 14790 question.

Very nice work Ben. Your next task should be to resurrect the awesome Kronosclub RO/ROO master database that was sadly taken off line a couple of years back.

Thank you for sharing.

This is a great read.....I have just purchased a Mk1 14790SA and it's good to read about the history of the 36mm RO.

I haven’t seen it before. I’d be surprised to see a 4 digit reference for this model as Audemars Piguet moved to 5 digit reference a number of years before
