Incoming: Conid Regular Demonstrator Bulkfiller
The Conid Bulkfiller has been spoken of very highly in this group so I purchased one last week on Penworld during the very brief period that they seemed to be available. There didn't seem to be nib options other than steel. It arrived from Belgium only 2 days later and I'm loving it. The feeding mechanism is an engineering marvel and the feel is amazing. I'm still new to this, so I have a very small sample size I've used, but this lives up to the hype I've read.

Steel vs Gold nibs are only aesthetic choices.
On any well made nib it's the tipping that actually touches the paper and nib material plays a secondary and less significant part. |

Congrats! I got the restock e-mail and immediately went to place an order and the stock was already gone, sold out in a matter of minutes. Your review makes me want this even more. Enjoy!

Thank you for that description. This nib flows on paper noticeably more smoothly than the 2 Montblancs I own.

Problem with Conids as a newbie is that you launched yourself in at the very top. They're the best-engineered pens ever made IMO.
Enjoy (writing) in good health! |

Well, I have you to blame for that! ;-) Your descriptions sold me on the Conid!

Congrats. I own two Conids, a kingsize flat top with a Ti nib, and a regular size Antwerppen with the steel nib. Amazing pens.
So amazing, I won't take the Kingsize out of the house for fear of losing it. I'd look at an Otto Hutt Design 08 next, now THAT's a pen! |

Dang, now I need a new fountain pen. Just found these CONID pens and heard about their engineering. Just the mention of a ti nib has me drooling.
