GMT Jubilee shorter than Oyster?
Is the new jubilee on the GMT shorter than the Oyster out of the box?
My dear ally has a BLNR oyster with three links out. When he got his Pepsi BLRO on jubilee the AD took out three links before they shipped it. The jubilee is way too short compared to the BLNR..was it shorter to begin with? |

I think the Jubilee blro bracelet might be shorter.
I needed 2 links out on the blro and 2 on the BLNR but the Oyster links are obviously bigger than the jubilee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I recently tried on a 116234 DJ 36 with super jubilee bracelet at an AD and the bracelet was too short from Geneva for my 7.25” wrist. SA mentioned some are shorter than others for no discernible reason.
It didn’t make a lot of sense to me, as my ceramic sub needed to lose a few links when I purchased. I do believe the SJ bracelets on DJ 36 have gotten shorter due to more women wearing this reference. |

Both my BLNR Oyster and BLRO Jubilee had two links taken out to begin with and felt generally the same. Just a few days ago I had the micro adjustment in the BLRO clasp moved out one notch to add a few mm. I’m going to say the jubilee links are probably a tiny bit shorter than the oyster’s.

Thy have to be. My Pepsi fit perfect right out of the box but the new Sub I got last week needed 2 links removed.

You are correct in your assumption that the jubilee bracelets are shorter than the oyster.
I'm fact I find it quite bizarre that virtually every model has different size bracelets. I realise that cases vary in size and no doubt Rolex possibly attach different bracelet lengths so that the overall circumference is roughly the same but the variations are far greater than that. I don't think we'll ever fully get to grips with understanding how Rolex thinks and operates. Any other company would have a standard across their entire range. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |

I just received my BLRO yesterday and the first thing I noticed is that it fit a little loose out of the box but almost fits perfectly. I usually need two links taken out of my oyster bracelets with the exception of the Daytona and YM(just one).

Probably...when I tried one on, it was snug. Normally I wear Rolex as is right out of the coffin.
At least I knew, so told my AD I'd need another link whenever mine comes in....someday ![]() |

The same seems to be true of the DD40 bracelet.

Yes, it’s definitely shorter. I normally remove one full link out of the oyster, on my BLRO I didn’t take any links off. Have the adjustment set in the middle hole and the adjustment is in.

Absolutely shorter right out of the box! In April I picked up a new Sub Date and a Pepsi on the same day. I knew the Sub needed 2 links taken out so they took care of it and it fit fine. I tried the Pepsi out of the box and it fit fine. Last week I picked up my new Daytona with the Oyster bracelet and it looks like I will need at least one link removed and possibly two so the Jubilee is definitely shorter than the Oyster.

+1. I have the exact same fitting. My conclusion was the jubilee bracelet was shorter than the oyster.

Interesting .Out the box the blnr oyster fits perfectly .The jubilee being shorter wont work for me then .Great info .DD40 that I tried, the same .
On my DJ41s with jubilee fits perfectly . Does this mean on the GMTs with jubilee, the the bracelet is actually shorter compared to a jubilee on a DJ41? |

Yeah I think so. I had 2 links taken out my 116710LN and just 1 on my BLRO.

Other owners I talked to with the blro/jubilee seem to think so. Lucky I got a small wrist.
