A little different incoming
I ordered this on the 25th of July received it on the 26th of august. A little on the pricey side but I love the way it looks and the balance of the WG is pretty sweet. And I know some here will call it a “Frankenstein” watch but I like having something a little unique.

What did you order … the bracelet?
I think a SS bracelet will wear away the WG case excessively. I would not do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve heard before you’re not supposed to wear 14k against 18k due to the 18k getting worn down from the harder metal. |

Are you using the original spring bars (gold) from your oyster PM bracelet?
I’d also be concerned about premature wear pairing a SS bracelet with a PM case. |

I am using the original spring bars. I had not considered the excessive wear from the steel against the gold. That being said there is zero play between the case and the bracelet. And there doesn’t seem to be any way it would move around. I will keep a close eye on that happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The interface of the white gold and stainless steel could be interesting.

I personally would keep the WG GMT on oyster (it looks the best IMO) and add the GMT SS on Jubilee to wear daily

What about the steel and gold pieces from Rolex? They don’t seem to wear prematurely or excessively. Frankly I was more worried about the colors not matching but that worked out just fine too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
