Does anyone have any idea how much a new 6119R goes on second-hand market? I'm seeing one on chrono for 42K USD. Is that the current market price?

I think it currently goes for slightly a bit more than MSRP from the various places I've seen them. Mainly due to the availability of it in store since its a new watch and production is currently low.
I would just wait for one from an AD. |

Davidsw has the 6119g listed for ~$6400 US over retail. Not sure if the g or r is “hotter”.

Nothing is "hotter" -- it's simply too soon to make an assessment. These have barely started rolling out.

I feel fortunate to have a 5119 from a few years ago for $19k, mostly funded by trade-ins.
