What should I do?
I bought a watch on ebay and the seller requested paypal. Being a novice I paid using instant paypal and paypal immediately deducted from my credit card the amount of the purchase. I then received an email from the seller that since I had used paypal I would have to pay an additional charge before he would ship. Feeling I had no choice I paid the extra charge. The seller instantly shipped and delivered the correct goods. I gave the seller a neutral rating because of this extra charge. Now the seller has contacted me to change my neutral rating. I now understand now that this is common to charge extra fees on ebay without advertising the fact. BTW for you sellers out there, I was actually in the market for three rolexes. A ND Sub for my grandson $4000, $9000 Date Sub for my son and a $12000 Daytona for me. I was only waiting to make sure the transaction went ok before ordering the other watches. I bought the Date sub from a local AD and the Daytona from Brick and Motor Dealer with online presence. |

Sorry for the hit.....If the seller allows paypal and does not disclose the additional 3% or so if paying with paypal, then the seller should not request the xtra $$$.
I would have given him a poor rating. My recommendation: Buy the rest of the watches you are seeking here on the forum....many, many satisfied friends. Welcome to the forum by the way |

X2 I think you're generous for giving him a neutral rating when did not declare you need to pay an extra fee for using paypal, after HE requested it as the payment method.

Thanks for the help.
I tried to post in the "For Sale / Wanting To Buy" but wasn't allowed. I do have another grandson who in a few years will be able to handle a Rolex and that will allow me to buy one for him and get another for myself. Again thanks |

File a complaint with Ebay and PayPal.
Get your money back and deal with TempoKing or DavidSW You will save money, deal with a higher class of people who are men of their words.

Welcome to the forum and sorry for your e-bay experience.
It is illegal for an e-bay seller to do what he did. File a complaint with e-bay and request your money back. Better yet, e-mail your seller and tell him your intentions and you'll see how quickly he returns your funds. |

I would return the watches and request to get my money back! Also, where did you get the below prices from? I am no expert but they seem high to me for the described watches....
ND Sub $4,000 Sub Date $9,000 Daytona $12,000 |
