Absolutely not. Her voice alone makes me want to punch her in the head. I would take Marge over Lois!

I like the accent just fine, it's how freakin' NASALLY she sounds that drives me crazy! Accents in general are fun to me, because I don't have one. Just plain old.. Canadian, eh?

Well, if we are talking about cartoon females, I guess it would have to be Marge. Ooh oh, actually, I like Joe's wife from family guy, she is the prettiest.

Family Guy is extremely witty.
The Simpsons is classic comedy.
South Park is just plain smart, I love the satire they introduce with each show.

All amazing, for different reasons. But Family Guy definitely has the best one-liners!

I haven't cried in a movie since Titanic came out.

However, I am also described as having a heart of stone..

The Simpsons is actually a pretty deep commentary on modern society too in places.

I agree, they also satirize. Just recently, a few examples are Steve Jobs/Apple company, and one pretty similar to A Bridge to Terebithia (fanTASTIC book.)

I just find that the way that SP does it is really funny but really makes you think.

I actually find Family Guy to be one of the wittiest shows being broadcast at present.

I appreciate that us Scots dont get all the humour due to some scenes being purely aimed at current / topical American themes but I still find Seth Green to have a great (albeit a slightly worrying) mind.

Think about this .... "The Simpsons" has been on the air for twenty years .... twenty years. Twenty years in TV-world is many lifetimes. Literally hundreds of programs are introduced and then disappear in twenty years ... yet the Simpson's are still out there, every Sunday night, with a new episode. Amazing ...

I fully expect "Family Guy" to enjoy a similar run; perhaps not twenty years, but who knows? It is a smart, funny satirical look at American life, and will continue to annoy, entertain, and insult many folks ... the correct recipe for longevity.

Matt Groening and Seth MacFarlane are masters at turning the mirror back on us ... and I thank them for sharing their talent.

Cheers!
Bill

Sorry folks; my mistake. Seth MacFarlane - not Seth Green.

Thanks Bill.

I was hoping you meant MacFarlane, because Seth Green has never released a good thing in his life.
(Speaking of which, I LOVE the last FG episode I saw poking fun at Seth Green and his stupid Robot Chicken show

Though I agree that it is amazing that the Simpsons has been around for twenty years (as long as I have been alive!) I think that it has declined over the years. It will always be great, but it is slipping in my opinion.

Lois? Mmm, no, the nose, there's something about the nose that I don't like.
Marge? Sometimes she looks great, sometimes she looks very normal (weird comment, since I'm talking about a yellow woman with blue hair), but I don't like her voice in English. In Spanish it's not raspy, I find it nicer.
Leela? She's hot and strong, yes, definitely.

And I like Family Guy, but I hate Peter, he's too stupid for my taste. Yeah, yeah, I know, Homer Simpson has been becoming dumber with every season, but it's still not at the same level. Overall, I prefer The Simpsons, Futurama a close second, then South Park (sometimes) and then Family Guy.

I am happy to say that I have not watched even one episode of any of these three.
