Anyone here bought from grey market internet seller?

I asked yesterday about buying from gemnation.com, but no one answered, so I guess no one here bought from them before. So I want to ask for generic quesions on what should I pay close attention to when I buy from internet grey market seller. Can someone recommend some grey market sellers that are trustworth? I have read a lot storied on sending out money but received nothing or received something fake. As a first time Rolex buyer, I want to be very careful.

Lots of great sellers right here on TRF, also alanfurman.com or swissluxury.com

I am relatively new to the forum, however, I think the underlying theme is to buy from ADs when possible - or - look through the sellers here on the forum. I've seen lots of beautiful watches for good prices. That being said - I have - on two occasions purchased watches from http://www.tic-tock.com. They have been easy to deal with and several of my partners have had similar experiences. I don't work for them or with them - it's just a personal opinion based on two sales. I looked at the gemnation site and personally would stay away...My 2 cents.

Buy from a local AD, or for a better price BUY FROM THIS FORUM. There is even a "who's who" section for you to familiarize yourself with the sellers who are best known here.

I think MOST people here bought off the internet. Rule 1 - but the seller first, not the watch!

I've bought from 3 sellers from this site and 1 from TZ. As Greg said, buy the seller not the watch.

I checked all referrences available before buying, and have had absolutely no regrets.

I bought a couple of women's Rolex's (not for me.... ) and a Tag from Jomashop.com. All were good experiences. Once they kept the warranty and I had to call them to get it.

Bought a Tag and Omega from Jomashop, no complaint. Also bought from Boris (sale2day) here on TRF, again-no problem at all.
