A jewish girl tells her mother that she is in love with a sheik.

The mother says, "What is this mishegas, feh? You are going to embarass your family. This cannot be. You need to find yourself a good jewish boy."

Over the next few months, the sheik sends the family jewels, pays their house off, first class plane tickets to far off destinations, a new car etc.

One day the girl comes home and confesses to her mother,
