WOW 8 seconds in 4 days
I received a 14060 'A' 5 days ago - a 10 year old watch with an unknonw service history. I have never set and compared my watches to "official time" - in fact, I posted 4 days ago here asking the question "what do I compare it to"?
So I set it against the USNO Master Clock - and this beautiful 10 year old sub is runnning a collective 8 seconds slow over a 4 day period - COOL |

Rolex used to provide this helpful insert - don't know when they stopped doing it. (Probably when "Sea Bathing" became "swimming") It is a shame as I bet they do a lot of warranty regulating that could be avoided.

What is typical average gain per day for rolexes? My sub is only a month old and i've worn it somewhat haphazardly so far, so tough to tell. And from what I understand it picks up time off the wrist when when it sits face up and loses time when it is on its side with the crown turned up?

My 27 day old GMT IIc has settled on -2secs a day. I hope it is still -2 per day after 10 years.
