Who gets the gift?
Seems like the president would be giving watch gifts to the Secret Service, not the other way round. Who is taking a bullet here?
Actually, I'm justing trying to get 16 posts so I can get out of purgatory. |

I don't know if its true but i read George W Bush had a Timex Indiglo and
that one of his daughters gave it to him as a b'day present(as if they were trying to make excuses as to why he wore one) Can anyone confirm that?? IMHO there is nothing wrong with a Timex and no apologies are needed to wear one,i'm sure it kept good time and was reliable!! |

That's funny what you say, Everose, about having an excuse to wear a Timex. In France, President has been in trouble because of his Rolex... they called him the "bling-bling" president...

I just got the feeling they wanted to say it was a sentimental gift......as if they were embarrassed about it....but i could easily have misinterpreted it!!!!
I cannot remember where i read it!! Last edited by everose; 29 January 2010 at 09:22 PM.. Reason: . |

Thanks Dan for the info The JFK images Omega uses......is that because JFK wore Omega(i thought he wore Rolex)...or is it because of the Moon Landings association????? |
