6239 vs 6265 -waterproof - which is better?

Ok - I am a vintage sub guy and a daytona novice. I am looking for a watch to replace my 5514 as my daily wear watch.

My question revolves around which watch is more waterproof or reliable when swimming and doing general daily activities? Is it better to have the screw-down pushers of the 6265 or is the 6239 essentially the same?

I just don't want to be paranoid if I jump in the pool with the kids - actually I am just paranoid that I will accidently wreck my 5514 while doing yard work and it will now be relegated to becoming a safe queen unfortunately.

Hmm. How often do you swim? If you swim daily, you may want to the screw down pushers. If you don't, go with the 6239.

What about a Sea-Dweller or another Vintage Sub (5513/5512/1680)? You should have no problem with either of those.

A sea-dweller may do. Currently I rotate between my 5514 and 5513 3-6-9 sub as daily wears. Was just looking for something with a different look like the older daytona.

I don't swim often but with little kids I do jump in the pool, get soaked in the bath tub and other unexpected aquatic adventures.

With a DRSD 1665 you would have a great diver trio. What about an Explorer 1655?

The 1655 is my second choice. The fear I have with DRSD's is that most are fake and there really is no way to verify what dial came on the watch.
