Need help with 1961 Oyster Perpetual

Hi I am tempted by a watch described as "ORIGINAL GENTS 9CT SOLID GOLD ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL WRISTWATCH DATED 1961". This is my birth year and I would like to add an example of Rolex to my (small) collection! The movement number is D186478 and the case number is 1484286. Can anyone tell me if this is a 1961 model and any other info about it? Thanks in advance.

looks to be a late 1965.

dial is marked T SWISS T for tritium post 64
1570 movement did come into play until some time in 1965
my question is, why does the movement # start with a "D"??
hmmmm?

does the lug #'s @ the 6 side match the number on the
inside of the case back?? 1484286

still a nice piece! if it isn't your birth year

enjoy and happy hunting

Thanks for the information Blaine .... much appreciated. I will enquire if the lug numbers match. Does anyone know what letter a 1570 movement should start with (if any)?
