TAG Heuer Carrera Twin Time........
Hi Guys
I just got the Carrera on Tuesday. It has the silver dial and a black croc strap(sorry, no pics). It is a very nice watch, but I'm not real happy with the strap. I'm thinking of putting a different strap/clasp combo on it and I need to know the lug width. Can anyone help? BobB |

Use a metric rule Bob. Just measure between the lugs or measure the width of the strap end pieces.(Most likely be 20 mm). If you haven't got the watch with you try the Tag Web Site as they might list it in the specifications. Aaron Ruler = King etc Last edited by AJC; 23 September 2005 at 04:53 PM.. |

Congrats, Bob, that's a Steve McQueen classic! The lug width most likely should be 20 mm which is quite common amongst most men's watches.

Sorry JJ, the 'Steve McQueen' is the old Heuer Monaco, pictured below in the blue dial. The Carrera is the white dial below. Gilles Villeneuve wore a Carerra when Heuer sponsored Ferrari. Two very different watches. |
