Rolex Prices going up next month ??
Hey guys, was at a dinner tonight and a friend spoke to an AD in Singapore.
She mentioned that places like Hour Glass etc are going to put Rolex prices up in March !!! Is this a world wide decision ?? Is this true ?? 'cause I'm off to Singapore in April, thinking of getting a two tone ceramic blue subby !! I'll be really pissed off if a price hike is around the corner. Anyone else know this?? Steve |

Well in most forums almost daily there are posts that Rolex watches are going up by this and that.Myself don't deal in rumours only facts myself have not heard of any price rise scheduled world wide yet.

Three things I count on in life: death, taxes, and Rolex price increases. Of the three, taxes are the only thing on my calendar.

To be fair in UK the January increase was a VAT adjustment not a Rolex influenced price hike.

Would be kind of crazy if there is a price increase. Atleast in the NL, there were price increases in September 2010, Jan 2011.
Honestly i think its a lot of Bull, but who knows excepts the bosses at Rolex itself. Cheers M Quote:

To all intents and purposes it is 5% and I was surprised when they did it after having a UK increase in October 2010. I'm now flabbergasted there are more rumours about another rise in May/June. Is your source reliable?

Your not the only one but i did expect them to raise prices due to the VAT increase but i would have liked Rolex to have took a leaf from Omega's book and only raised inline with the VAT. As for my source they are not usually wrong but even he is saying this is only rumour at this time.
