Watch Winder Advice
I am leaning towards the purchase of an Orbita watch winder for my 2005 SS Rolex Sub, 2008 SS Breitling Cockpit, 2010 SS Oyster Datejust (bought for my fiancee), and vintage 1968 SS Oyster Date. One would think buying a watch winder would be pretty straight forward. Not at all!
Does anyone know if there is a better winder brand out there? Looking to spend up to $1,500 for a winder that fits three watches. What would the recommended turns per day setting be: 500, 650, 800, 950 or 1300? I've read that the 650 turns per day bi-directional setting works well for Rolex. Would the 1968 Rolex have the same setting as the 2005/2010 Rolexes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~Adam |

I wouldn't put your 1968 on a winder-just my take. If you want a nice winder-check out the Wolf Viceroy. For me--I like my natural winder--my wrist! I only wear one at a time-the rest locked away at the bank--much safer that way too!! As long as my fingers can still turn a crown and I am active--it will do the trick just fine! Lastly-your watches will last longer between service intervals-for those who are service fanatics--less wear on them.
