Seems to me like a bargain for the near $50K USD it realized at auction last May....Comex and MilSub provenance coupled with higher scarcity compared to "run of the mill" Comex or MilSubs. I'm sure the owner has contacted Rolex to see if there's a location that can provide background on it the way Bexley verifies authenticity of MilSubs and Comex pieces.

it only reached 50k for a reason ...and probably too much at that ...the general feeling was that whilst the piece probably was as stated ..the logfo had been added later to make it more desirable/saleable
