Rolex Daytona SS U vs T Serial

I am new to the watch collecting scene.

Since most of you are pretty well versed in the older Rolex watches... Is there any significant difference between the "U" and "T" serial number Stainless Steel Daytona's?

I know at some point they switched to solid end links. But I think that was at a later point, like at serial's beginning with "A"

Thanks
Luis

There is no difference between the U and T serials... They were sold side-by-side from about ~'96 through ~'99, just prior to the SEL introduction.

serial numbers T & U {in that order} are the same, then A had solid end links, followed by P witch had the new case Bracelet/clasp & in house made 4130 movement

Thanks for the help. Do you guys know what the production numbers are for the SS white and black dial Daytona's for the U and T serial numbers?

Both should have had the green Rolex sticker on the back correct?

Thanks
LUIS

nobody but Rolex knows about production numbers, & they aint tellin, I would be shocked if 12 & 15 year old watches still had the green stickers... but to answer your question, yes they came with them...
