Hello, Please tell me if this is rose gold or

Hey guys I have a ladies president that I'm not sure about. It looks rose gold when compared to any other models I have but I'm not sure. Also since its a newer watch shouldn't it weigh more than it does? Any comments or answers would be great. Thanks

Hey MonBk, Why does it seem that color? I don't have anything other than some watches from the 80's to compare it to so maybe it's the newer alloy or something. Do you think it could be tarnish?

IF you saw this one in person you wouldn't believe how red the gold looks in comparison.

I know what you mean. The newer DD's have a more redish appearance compared to the older ones.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the certificate marked for yellow gold?

Yes guys the cert is marked Yellow but I really for the life of me thought that this must be a mistake because it really looks red when compared to the other gold watches I have. The pic of it next to the other gold watch doesn't show how drastic it is in person. Most of the watches I get are from the 70's 80's and 90's so I'm not use to this color of gold. Yellow to me means Yellow not kindof red. What do you think about the weight shouldn't it weigh more being post 2000 or is this from mens models only?

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it must be a duck..... Unless it isn't.

Ok just so you guys don't think I'm a dumb fool that has the cert and still don't believe. Look at this image. Thanks for taking the time to confirm what Rolex already tried to tell me.

The copper content in the gold must be slightly higher. It would qualify as yellow gold though by the yellow looks of it, in all it's yellowness and all. ;)

All karat gold has a copper and or silver content. Aside from 999.9 pure 24 karat stuff.

How many gold watches do you currently own? I'm wondering looking at your avatar. I love the stuff myself but can't seem to justify to myself the price of the watches made from it...with all the nice stainless ones out there that I still want!

It looks like you own or work in a pawnshop.

Do you not have anything that is actual rosegold to compare to?

Rosegold is a completely different animal

I had a rose gold and stainless Datejust but I sold it before I got this one. I probably got a ring or a chain or something but nothing Rolex anymore.

It is YG. I do not see, from the photos, how you can think it is rose gold.

So your saying that you can't see a difference in the two watches on post #14?
