New guy in Chi-Town
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum, it's great to start learning about these watches. I like the Sub and the sea dweller (maybe gmt ii). Looking probably at getting one second hand to save a few bucks. I was wondering what sort of things I should be looking for or to avoid in looking for a used Rolex. Things like should the watch always come with the original box or papers, etc. Also, any recommended stores with a rock solid reputation either in Chicago or Las Vegas to go look at? Thanks guys, hopefully I'll learn enough to feel confident in pulling the trigger on a watch soon!

Welcome aboard! The Wynne in Vegas has a nice store. There was another one besides Tourneau but can't remember where...Maybe The Pallazzo?? I was there a month and ahalf ago. Any ways very little dealing there with popular SS models. You could do much better here on TRF for certain models. Sea Dweller has since been discontinued and same with the 16610 Sub. Those prices the Sea Dweller and the 16610 Sub LV re going up relatively quickly especially bnib!

Thanks for the greetings. I'll be checking around for a deal here on TRF. I guess as a new guy here I wouldn't know who's a trusted seller and who isn't.... Also, I'll just say I'm a Blackhawks, Bulls, and Bears fan. No comment on baseball--Don't want to upset any fellow Chicagoans.....!
