How do you insure your watch?

I put it on my home owners, but it isn't for replacement.

What do you guys use and is it new replacement insurance?

You have to added under an individual and additional plan under your home owners insurance that covers property other than your home, ex: paintings, china, watch.

I have heard of people insuring it under there Rental insurance and of course the next step for you to take would be to get an official appraisal and submit it to you insurance plan or have it on hand if the day should ever come that you need it.

Right now they're on my homeowners for the appraised value, insured against theft or loss and replacement with like kind and quality, with a $500 deductible. My agent is setting up a separate policy and will move the two Rolexes I've insured to that policy. Other unlisted jewelry, such as a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 500M will still be covered by a $5000 rider on my homeowners policy.

I have all of my valuable jewelry insured separately via a Personal Articles Floater supplement to my home owners insurance. They are insured for loss or damage for full replacement cost with no deductible. The non named items are covered up to $20k as part of the regular home owners. It's not really adequate, but good enough. High value, infrequent wear items are stored in a safe deposit box.
Between the 2, I feel secure.

Inland Marine Policy, separate and apart from my homeowners. No deductible, mine covers loss, theft, etc.

I was paid on it a few weeks ago after a theft. However, always remember to up the value of it yearly. My pay out won't cover cost of replacing with a new one since I didn't adjust the covered amount to match Rolex's price increases.
