Thanks for sharing.

Hope you don't mind, but I've copied these on a few other Forums (with amends to the odd typo ... LOL)

Astonisning. I bought myself my TT blue and my wife's non-date for £8,400 total back in August. Now the pair weigh in at an eye-watering £12,400! OK, I am not applying discounts to the new price, but I am feeling strongly trhat I pulled the trigger at exactly the right time!

thanks Haywood

WOW - that is pretty crazy, soon we will be seeing £6k+ SS Submariner in AD's display case

the 42mm EXPII is abit lower than expected though.... is that a good thing

and..... about £600 difference between 216570 and 16570

Just noticed the 10k plus price tag for the Daytona. I won't be wearing that watch ever then. I am a lover of gold (I know, not everyone's taste) but 10k plus for a stainless steel Rolex is absurd. I am looking for the best value there and the Sub ND has it for me.

How a £1,500 increase on the TT Blue from it's price of £6,610 this time 2010 can be justified is beyond me.

I think I'll have that bottle of wine this evening, after all.

That 10k for the Daytona isn't for the SS. The SS Daytona 116520 will retail for roughly £7500 I believe. The model quoted by the OP I believe is WG on leather.

All in all, both are still overpriced

I quoted for the 116523 Daytona which is clearly a steel and yellow gold Daytona on a bracelet. Time to brush up on your metal / model number codes gentlemen !

I didn't quote on the steel 116520 as I had already given the RRP for that here last week -- £7,490.

Glad I bought my 14060m last September... That thing has gone up by almost a quarter of what I paid for it in 9 months!?!

By by BNIB Rolex... Vintage ALL the way from now on!

In response to the question about 116200 ( gent's steel Datejust ) prices . . .

£4,200 fitted on the latest version of the Oyster bracelet
£4,270 fitted on the latest version of the Jubilee bracelet.

YES, colonial posters, these prices do include VAT.

That's not the price for a SS Daytona, SS is approx. £7500.

MikeJaye - The 216570 may not be on the price list which YOU have seen, but it is clearly found on the Excel spreadsheet ( with wholesale prices, too ) emailed to UK Authorised Dealers.

Every fact I have revealed since Friday has subsequently been confirmed by others, so even if you don't know who I am you might begin to have some faith in what I have been relaying.....

It was more of a general query as to where the 216570 price came from rather than putting doubt on the figure you have provided.

Cheers
