Will this Crown come off after 5,000 pulls?
Hi, question about the crown on the clasp:
Since this crown is right where you use your fingernails to open the clasp, will this crown come off after a few years, say, 5,000 pulls? Has anyone experienced any issue with it? And if this does come off after warranty, will Rolex replace this for free? I would prefer the crown to be put a little left, we don't need the crown to open the clasp anyway. Thank you.

The hidden clasp Day-Date and Jubilee bracelets are under more stress and are made of softer gold, yet they seam to be holding up just fine, along with many of the older 18k oyster bracelets that had a similar arrangement with the crown serving as a point of leverage. Wolverine might have a problem but I think you'll be sweet for many decades to come!

“Rolex crown glue no.221” will do the trick ;)
You actually use your fingernail under the crown to open the clasp – that’s why Rolex placed there
