Plugged up lug hole? Ever have to drill one out?
i just bought a nice tudor sub and it seems there is the remainder of an old push pin in there. i could not get it out using a push pin tool. left it at a good RSC that does a lot of vintage.
i am praying the case is not dammaged gettting it out. Harry in montreal |

I once had this on an old Seiko, so with a little patience and a very small hand drill I managed to work the blasted thing out.
But yes RSC will be able to help too. |

Here's hoping for a good outcome, sounds like it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Keep us posted.

thanks guys.
i own a dremmel tool but i rather just give it to my RSC and let him try. i have a steady hand but i think i rather skip this one. in fact, i rather do my own dental work with my dremmel than try it myself. i wonder if anyone has actually used that thing on their teeth. just a thought. harry |

I would not use a Dremmel, unless you can set it to a very slow speed, but yes probably best leave it RSC

I wouldn't use a power tool. I'd try some liquid wrench. Let it penetrate the hole and sit there a while in case there is any corrosion, then try to push out the stuck piece with a threaded push pin tool.

Hey there. I went to gambard rolex today and he gave me back the watch looking perfect. You can't tell there was an issue. That lug hole was really plugged up and he cleanly removed it. The guy is a gentleman and very competent. Sitting here in the backyard listening to some live u2 and admiring my watch. They are playing live 200 yards from our home
My wife is kinda drunk and hasn't noticed the watch. Great way to end a nice day. Harry |
