Pics of SS Daytona w Brushed Center Links?

I have a late year SS Zenith Daytona (white dial), and love the watch especially the dial, but am not crazy about the polished center links. Am hesitant to brush them out and change the watch from its original condition, however.

Anyone brush out the center links on their Daytona and have photos they can post? Would be interested to see some examples to get a better feel for whether it's worth considering. Thanks!

That is not uncommon, if you search the forum you will also find pics from a guy who brushed the Daytona bezel with great result.

I'm also wondering if the bezel is polished on Daytonas with polished center links, meaning it would look weird to simply brush out the links with a bezel like that. Mine's in the safe deposit box at the moment, so can't take a look!

I own P serial 2000 transitional Daytona which the dial has turned a milky, minty green, which is quite a rare watch, and one that most people would love to own, but!! i rarely wear it because i dislike the PCLs.
When i thought about brushing the bracelet i asked one of my favourite posters on here for some advice, he told me to leave well alone, as collectors like their pieces in original condition.

Thanks. I know that's the right advice, I just might get like you and hardly wear mine b/c I don't like the PCLs. Luckily I've got a couple of awesome vintage pieces without them that I love!!

Two polished bezels, one with PCL and another with brushed center link. Since the lugs are brushed, I think brushed center links go just fine regardless of the polished bezel.

Larry has some sweet pics I'm sure he'll chime in with. He's not a PCL guy either.

Brushed everything including bezel. I really am not a PCL fan. You can always repolish the center links and your have done no harm. I have done it on a number of watches.

I have sold a number of brushed bezels to members here also.

Additional you could just add one of my black bezels to your zenith for a great look too.

So I'm rethinking the pcl thing on the Daytona. Put mine back on this morning and now see it as just a different look, slightly dressier, not a worse look. Whether pcl or non, I believe the SS Daytona is the ultimate Rolex everyday power watch. Long live the Daytona!

I personally like the brushed center links better myself. Hold up better to regular use.
