Invicta
I recently did some computer work for a local antique dealer who know's I have a soft spot for watches. The work didn't take me long and I was asked if I would like to have a look through a couple of small bins of watches. I found a Waltham pocket watch from 1908 that I have since torn down, oiled, cleaned, and polished. It is keeping fantastic time so far. The other thing of interest that I found was an Invicta Subaqua Noma III 4569. I picked this thing up and it weighs like a pound LOL. She let me take them both. Here is a link to the Invicta.
http://www.watchexclusive.eu/product...ray-watch.html My question is this. Does anyone have any experience with these watches? The deployment part of the clasp is broken as well. Is it worth the $60 it will cost to order a replacement? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TRF! |

Is it worth it to you? Do you like the watch enough to invest $60 in it.
Do you really think you will get your money out of it? I'm not too sure how good a watch the Invicta really is. I personally wouldn't do it.

Sixty bucks isn't much to spend on a watch that you would like to wear.
The SAN is not a watch I would wear. Also, Invicta's MSRPs are highly inflated.

Indeed they are. You can find this watch elsewhere for around 3 or $400. It feels like a fairly well made solid watch. The size is what gets me though. I don't know if I can pull it off with 7" wrists.

Never been a fan of Invicta. Don't like their styles nor their quality given the prices they try to ask for the watches.
That being said, if YOU like it and can get the part for $60.00 - you may have a nice beater.

For $60 bucks, I bought this pretty minty in box. Impulse buy.

I am not a fan of their quartz series but the grand drivers I own are pretty darn good for daily use. IMHO it is not worth spending $60 for replacement part.
