Modern bracelet on vintage Speedmaster

Would the Modern Speedmaster bracelet 1998/849 fit a vintage '1967 145.012 Speedmaster? I know the 1171 is the current replacement, but would the bracelet for modern Speedmasters still fit correctly?

thanks

I think I found my answer. It seems that one needs to MAKE it fit by using 633 end-links. The solid end-links for the 1998/849 will not fit the lugs correctly. Can someone confirm.

thanks

as long as the case has not been warped or dented around it should fit. I have fit a 1998/849 bracelet on a 1970's vintage version although a little tight.
